Rooted in Clare County

Bill Sharp was born and raised in Harrison by his parents, Craig and Jackie Sharp. A lifelong resident of Clare County, Bill attended local schools and proudly graduated from Harrison High School. He later earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice–Law Enforcement Pre-Service.

Bill met his wife, Becky, in 2003, and they married in 2007. Together, they have raised two children in the community Bill has always called home. His commitment to Clare County is personal—these are the neighborhoods, schools, families, and businesses he has spent his life knowing and serving.

Before beginning his career in law enforcement, Bill spent more than a decade working in the private sector as a welder, laborer, satellite installation technician, and supervisor. Those experiences strengthened the work ethic, practical problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities he now brings to public service.
